We first met Gemma spontaneously whilst viewing wedding venues in Lake Como. From the outset it was clear how passionate Gemma is about her job and her enthusiasm is infectious. Together with her friendly and approachable nature this gave us the confidence to pursue our dream of a wedding ceremony in Italy at the magnificent Villa Balbianello. One of the advantages of choosing Gemma to plan your wedding is the quality of the vendors/contacts that Gemma has developed. If Gemma recommends a Venue, Hotel, musician or make-up artist you can rest assured that they will be the best in the business. This relieves a lot of the stress and pressure involved in planning your special day. Gemma recommended a mobile hair and make up artist from Milan who provided the most stunning hair and make-up, she also arranged the most incredible Italian swing band, and a quirky and extremely talented photographer. Even our choice of reception venue, a beautiful quaint restaurant high up in the hillside, came from a recommendation from Gemma after telling her that we didn’t want anything typically large and lavish, but rather somewhere quiet and traditionally rustic that we could dine al fresco with our family and friends. We had dreamed of a perfect day and because of Gemma our dream became a reality. We could never have imagined that it would have turned out so perfectly and we wouldn’t change a single thing! All of our guests had the most wonderful day and they are memories that will be cherished for ever.
