We decided we wanted to get married abroad & chose Lake Como, Italy. We started researching quite a few wedding planners over the weeks & most of their replies were like standard template emails with no feeling or information. However, Gemma at My Lake Como Wedding’s reply was prompt & very personal. She took the time to find out exactly the type of wedding we were after and gave us all the information we needed to help us decide. I instantly knew she was the one who should help us plan our wedding as her bubbly, passionate personality came through in her emails. I have to say I am a bit of a control freak and ask a lot of questions but Gemma was always there to answer all my queries promptly. Gemma was always so helpful, when we didn’t know what we wanted she would make exciting suggestions and give us many options. She told me exactly what needed to be arranged and when, and gave guidance and advice to help us make choices. We were very excited to meet Gemma and her team when we arrived in Italy, after speaking regularly over the 18 months it felt like she was our friend rather than our wedding planner! She talked us through how the whole day would go and answered any last questions we had. She was so professional yet bubbly and enthusiastic. You can just tell she absolutely loves her job and wants to make your day as magical as possible. I won’t go into all the details but our whole wedding at Villa Cipressi ran perfectly. The day was more than we had ever dreamed it would be and that is all thanks to Gemma. She planned everything with such passion and attention to detail. We definitely couldn’t have done it without her and are so glad she was the one who planned our special day. Gemma and her team were there all day and always in the background making sure everything went to plan. We cannot praise her enough and for anyone looking to get married in Lake Como I would most definitely recommend choosing Gemma at My Lake Como Wedding. Thank you Gemma
