There is no denying that Lake Como is recognised world wide for its beautiful scenery, however it’s sometimes how you see and experience it that can make all the difference. RIVA SPEED BOAT
The most popular of our boat services is our Italian Riva. The Riva is a luxurious wooden speedboat built by Italian yacht builder Riva. Production of the Riva ran from 1962 until 1996. The boat’s speed, beauty, and craftsmanship earned its praise as the Ferrari of the boat world. The Riva is sheathed in mahogany and varnished to accentuate the beauty of the natural wood grain. It is for this reason that everyone either wants to experience an exciting ride in such an iconic Italian masterpiece, or simply capture themselves enjoying one during a photoshoot.
COLOMBO SPEED BOAT
The Colombo is another example of a beautiful Italian speed boat, which blends classic Italian styling with modern technology. The colombo is not as iconic as the Riva however it is another of our couples favourites when it comes to adding a mix of excitement and romance on the wedding day.
LUCIA ROW BOAT
The Lucia row boat is an iconic symbol of Lake Como. Originally called a Batell, and used from the 1500’s as a fisherman’s row boat they quickly become transformed to include bench seating along the sides to accommodate passengers looking for a leisurely cruise along the lake shores. Just recently we have started to introduce them for weddings, and with a little imagination can be transformed into something very beautiful.
VENETIAN LIMO SPEED BOAT
The Venetian Limo boat originated in Venice, and was designed as a means of transporting entire families of the rich and famous comfortably from their luxury canal side hotels to the high end canal side theatres and restaurants. These boats were so popular that they were quickly introduced to the surrounding luxury lakes of Northern Italy, and can still be found here today being used as the most convenient means of transport for those looking to explore the lake.
