SARAH AND JOHN’S LAKE COMO WEDDING REVIEW AND TESTIMONIAL
When we made the decision to do a destination wedding in Lake Como we knew we needed a wedding planner that would be able to recommend all of the best options to us and would be able to coordinate every single detail during the planning process. After our first video chat with Gemma, we were utterly blown away with her professional demeanor and her understanding of all of the available options. My husband and I simply fell in love with her – she was sweet, funny, and so knowledgeable – and we knew immediately that she would be the best person to make our wedding day perfect.

During the information gathering process, we realized how little my husband and I actually knew about planning a destination wedding. However, after spending a few months corresponding with Gemma it became clear to us just how amazing she was at her job. Her advice and recommendations were always timely and she was always available to answer every question or concern we had. We also found that on top of these things she is extremely patient, helpful and easygoing which importantly made us feel completely relaxed. Gemma guides you through the process and breaks down each stage of the planning process so that it’s not overwhelming, giving you both a variety of choices as well as her recommendations on everything from venue to flowers to music.
GEMMA AND HER ATTENTIVE TEAM WERE IN CONTROL OF EVERY LAST DETAIL
Perhaps the most impressive part of working with Gemma was her execution on the day of our wedding. Gemma and her highly attentive team were in control of every last detail, and I can say I went through my wedding day feeling like everything was perfect as her staff effortlessly handled any hiccups without us even knowing. We also knew we made the right choice when many of our guests came up to us during the wedding to point out how impressive Gemma was at coordinating all of the events while still being available to answer any questions they may have.
WORKING WITH GEMMA WAS ONE OF THE BEST PARTS OF OUR ENTIRE WEDDING
Planning a wedding overseas can be a difficult process requiring a tremendous amount of coordination to pull it all off. However, whenever I was asked if I was feeling stressed, my answer was honestly usually “no” because I felt like Gemma had everything under control and made the entire process a breeze. For the rest of our lives, my husband and I will look back on our special day feeling like we wouldn’t change a thing as everything was absolutely perfect – that’s something you can’t put a price on and we will always be grateful for. I actually cried the next day because I was sad I wouldn’t be able to email and chat with her anymore – after 2 years of planning with her, I truly felt like I was losing a friend! Working with Gemma was one of the best parts of our entire wedding, and my husband and I would strongly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding in Lake Como.
