My husband and I were planning a destination wedding and the initial experience was of course daunting. You are trusting a person whom you’ve never met and live on different continents. We decided to contact Gemma, from My Lake Como Wedding because from her social media and website, I knew her style would align with my view. It was more reassuring when we were able to see her vendor network and tags from former couples.

From the initial e-mail, Gemma has always remained professional and understanding. We conversed through many many e-mails and Skype calls. My husband and I decided to visit Italy to view the venue and do a menu tasting along with meeting Gemma for the first time, a year before the wedding.
We told Gemma our views, wants, and style and trusted Gemma to do her thing. Our involvement was minimal due to the distance. Gemma was always responsive and kept us on time in regards to payments, vendor selections, and detail finalizations. She answered all of our questions, concerns, and helped us stay within our budget.
When the day of the wedding came, it was even more than we had expected. While my husband and I opted out on a few floral decorations to stay within out budget, Gemma was able to add a few final touches that made our reception even more beautiful and complete.

We cannot say enough good things about our experience with My Lake Como Wedding. Gemma’s taste level is of high quality and it shows through work. We trusted Gemma with our wedding and it turned out even better than we had envisioned. Working with Gemma was delightful and relieved us of a lot of stress. Gemma is the sweetest person you will meet on Lake Como, and we highly recommend My Lake Como Wedding to anyone wanting to experience a wedding on Lake Como.
